I think for Char, his activation will take place at a bakery.
A baker will wash his hands and then goes over to dry his hands, but before he does so, he finds a pod, thinking it's an unusually large cherry on a belgian bun. He then goes over to examine it while his hands are still wet. He activates in front of the baker, and then he sees a fresh bagel, picks one up and then burns one, then another.
But the baker then tells him "Whoa, little dude, simmer down! We don't want to burn these bagels, let alone the other pastry products. You just got to toast them lightly without trying to burn the place down."
He'll then simmer down and then lightly toast the bagels as the baker told him. Giving him praise, the baker decides to name the bakery after him as Char's Bakery and that is where he'll find his one true place without the help of Lilo and Stitch, as they have witnessed him helping the baker out. So much so that Jumba actually knows that he has redeemed himself instantly.
But also have to deal with a couple more troublesome experiments who ruin food.
And those experiments are 413: Botulator and 414: Crusty. But their activation stories can be explained individually.
